Last weekend, the Silver Duke of Edinburgh group tackled the Hunua Ranges on a 3 day tramp from Kaiaua to the Hunua Falls. They tramped through various bush and road treks and faced various challenges on the way, but overall had a very enjoyable time.

Year 7 students spent their lunchtime yesterday with a picnic and games – great way to build friendships and have fun.
Student Leadership Camp 2017
The 2017 Student Leadership team had a great start to the new year after returning from an awesome weekend away at Kauaeranga Valley Camp in the Coromandel.
The camp offered a myriad of activities, from archery and air rifles to building rafts and kayaking in the gorgeous Kauaeranga River. Accompanied by beautiful summer weather, the combination most definitely allowed our team to experience the camp to its fullest.
Perhaps the most notable activity was on Saturday night, where we split into groups to perform an act in front of each other. Not only did it ‘break the ice,’ but provided many laughs and smiles which are sure to continue throughout the year.
The leadership camp served perfectly as an opportunity to get to know each other and build a strong team spirit, which will most certainly be key to our success this year. We are all looking forward to what 2017 brings and making a positive impact on the Strathallan community.
